An intent stare, a look of interest as snow softly falls on a red fox.

FOX HUNT
Fox Hunt. T-Hunt, and Radio Orienting, all have the same objectives.  Find the RF source in question.
Besides being fun and educational, the activity has practical uses.  An important one is finding RF interference right in your own shack.  Hopefully, this will be the first of many.

We will make this one as easy as possible.  No hiking through the woods, no searching for disguised xmtrs or those hidden inside something else.  Just find the vehicle with the Fox.

To make this safer and more fair, speed is NOT the objective, but the fewest miles traveled from start to finding the Fox.  Odometers will be recorded at the starting point near the front of the Port Charlotte branch of the library at 1000hrs, Hunt to begin at 1100 hrs.

It will run no more than 2 hrs(or until everyone finds the Fox).   Some folks plan to meet at Gatorz on US 41 in Pt. Charlotte to tell tall tales and commiserate their trials and tribulations.
Two or more hunters per vehicle will make this safer and more fun and is highly recommended.
