We will order dinner and begin our roundtable discussion at 5:45 pm.
Part One is our opportunity to prepare an Emergency Communications Program for the Charlotte Amateur Radio Society.
The discussion will include the usage of Tactical Voice Communications and Asynchronous Digital Communications.
We will discuss the equipment stacks required for the various levels of communication. Frequency requirements and physical locations will also be reviewed.
As usual, our communications exercises prohibit the use of repeaters and the internet for message handling. All communications must be RF only. After four years of experiments and exercises in simplex operations, we hope we can use our past training to develop a complete emergency communications exercise on March 18th.
